Need wiring info On a 69 evinrude 55 triumph

Doing a favor putting this outboard on for a guy but he gave me the harness with the ignition switch separate, I got it to crank but no fire. cranks like heck! The model# is55973A. Serial# is J06115. oh and the choke solenoid won't work either.

Go to the top secret files at the beginning of this forum and look for wiring diagrams. You'll find one there for your mtr.

Got it running. Thanks for your help. That top secret forum was really helpful. Now the choke solenoid is still not working. I touched it and it was hot and partially on. Could the switch be bad?

Pull the wire off of it and check with a volt meter to see if it has power all of the time.
