E140TLERR 140hp outboard I have has a fixed orfice air jet in the carb body and a adjustable mixture screw above it with a seperate orfice that it draws air from. If I understand correctly reading a shop manual starting in '94 is when they added the adjustable screw. My question is why would it have both? I have been fighting a lean condition at idle and this is confusing to me.
