Exhaust cover 115hp Johnson

1978 115hp Johnson

Here's my delema; I removed the exhaust cover plate and got lucky and only had one bolt break inside the block. I got the bolt removed, but messed up the hole. Tried to retap, but did a terrible job, tried some JB weld but did not hold proper torque. So here's the question: Do I really need to worry about one bolt, or will the other 15 be sufficient to keep things sealed and together. The messed up bolt is the lowest left bolt.

i wouldn't, if you are you could try a helicoil . ffr some heat from a torch seems to do the trick with tough bolts, although very flamable, pb blaster too.
