Hi, my engine has been partially fixed since I had been troubleshooting it on here and I just took the VRO out and cleaned it a bit, then put it back in and works pretty good. no more surging upon acceleration!!

The problem I'm having now is that it seems to be putting too much oil into it and causing a lot of toxic fines to come out. Love that 2-stoke fuel burn in the morn, but this is almost suffocating! Haha. It runs great at cruising and full throttle now(could be the wind pushing the fumes away also, but I was wondering if there is a adjustment I could make to correct this.

Hard to troll for stripers and blues when the fumes are so nauseating.

take a look to see if all your oil / fuel lines are good and that the connections are tight with no air leaks.

An air leak in the gasoline supply line will cause that. Check the main strainer under the airbox to make sure it is sealed well. Also check other gas line connections and fittings.
