1978 Evinrude 115 Shifter Lever Question

The shifter lever on my 115 Evinrude has worked its way loose. Do I access it from the top (remove the carb)?

Yes you can do it that way. Keep an eye out for a screw with a pin on the end of it, it may have dropped down the leg hole.

Yes, you'll probably have to take the bottom carb off to really get access to that lever.
