no spark 2000 Johnson 200 hp

Help all...started boat yesterday and was idling fine and it shut off like someone turned the
key off. It would not start again...have fuel and checked for spark on all cylinders and have
no spark at all...what should I do???

Remove black/yellow wire from ignition switch... retest for spark. If you have spark now, replace the switch. If still no spark, suspect the powerpack.

If you suspect the power pack, go to cdielectronics.com for trouble shooting procedures. You could have other probs. Another thing to do is remove the black/yellow wire directly from the power pack. This eliminates the entire boat and mtr wiring from the ignition system.
