1959 Evinrude Sportwin fuel mixture

Wondering if I can run 50:1 through this motor? I thought maybe with todays new synthetic oils it might be okay. I am pretty new to working on these older motors. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

stick with 24:1, no matter what oil you run.

yup, 24:1. Back in the day we used 30W non-detergent. Now days I use any TCW-3 cause it does burn cleaner, but still 24:1.
