No, it does not. You must disconnect the electric shift cable (tie a string or flexible wire to it so that you can pull the cable back up when re-installing), then remove the lower unit retaining bolts. Be sure to remove the one under the trim tab.
Make a scribe mark on the trim tab so that it gets re-installed in the same position when you put the unit back on.
