Hi all,
I was given an 85 h.p. evinrude which came from the original boat, the first thing I noticed was a whole heap of corroded wiring. I have since repaired most of the wiring and replaced the power pack. since I found that was the heart of the ignition system. I have one last problem the voltage regulator may need to be replaced but first things first, I need to finish off the rest of the wiring. I just have a question, can the voltage regulator be bypassed to at least get one spark. If anyone can help me out that would great, I would appreciate that alot
