help power pack 3 info, 1972 johnson 65 hp

I think my power pack is bad, I removed the black/yellow wire from power pack terminal #6, still no spark, I check with an ohm meter and terminal #6 without the wire attached is grounded out...does this sound logical that the power pack is shorted to ground? Thanks in advance, Mike

Reverse the ohm meter leads once and see what you get.

thanx, I found out it was the sensor #3 that bad causing no spark on all
