Are there parts/kits available to reseal /rebuild a 1954 Johnson fuel tank?

if you go to marine engine and look up a 1955 johnson 25 hp you can find the parts diagram for the pressure tanks. For stuff that old they don't have online availability but it will show you the part number of the seals and such.

From there google the parts you need. i refurbed a couple of old tanks last year.

Buy the kit, buying it individually will cost too much. Ebay also has the kits. Yours will have the metal primer button if it is '54, so order the kit for such. They are different from the kits for the tanks with the plastic buttons.
