Performed an engine check in driveway utilizing standard hose "ears" as water source. Taped off entry point over propeller.
Started engine as normal, but no cooling water indicator stream. Shutdown engine, pulled lower section, checked pump and found impeller in good condition with no apparent problems. Pump seems to be running fine but water not reaching the tell tale orifice. Water was emanating from the two orifices at front of the lower section indicating water was pouring into the section where the pump is located. Checked oil, no sign of water. Reversed flushed the tell tale outlet to no avail. Restarted engine and ran for several minutes with no indications of overheating. Guessing that tell tale must be plugged. Can't figure out how to clear it out.
