89 Evinrude 150 XP which repair manual?

I see the forum advertises the Seloc manuals so I'm assuming that's the recommendation to go with. It that's the case which is better the book or online?

You will get pretty close to unanimous recommendations for the OEM Service Manual, brusk. Look here:

You can usually find them on ebay as well.

I have the same engine and was wondering if other year service manuals would be fine for trouble shooting and what not. Kind of pricy so I want to be sure. I know the xp's were made from like 86' to 91'. Thanks, great site.
By the way mine is titled 89' but numbered e150stlcur (87')
