I've looked over the parts diagrams. I cannot identify a weep tube for this motor. It seems to run fine in a test barrel for a few minutes and not overheat. I have not put it to use on the boat yet. But I do not see any stream or mist discharge. I thought I read somewhere that there was not one on this model. The impeller looks fine. Should this thing weep or spit? Is it internal?
Thanks.

There is no such thing as a weep tube or telltale, or whatever you want to call it, on that motor. Teh only indicator is the few small holes down near the water level. There should be a spray coming out of them.

Note: Some of those things put out little or no spray. The water just runs down the inside and doesn't get blown out. If you don't see anything, try steering it around to reverse. Frankly, I never did get mine to put out anything significant.

Thank you!

I have a 2R75 and it does not put any spray. Runs all day at idle out the small holes in leg. Some times a spray.Runs all day at idle no overheating.
Great motors!
