I just bought an air silencer for my 60 hp, and no matter what I do, I cannot get it to seat against the carbs correctly. Its hitting the fuel lines. I've looked everywhere trying to find a picture or something of how tight the fuel lines are ran on this engine, but I cannot. To me, they are pretty tight. But does anyone have any photos of this motor showing the fuel lines/air silencer?

Those motors had special molded fuel lines to the carburetors. You need to get the correct ones and they will clear.

EDIT: Part number 314512, changed to 0333387. You have to get them from an Evinrude dealer.
