Johnson 25 hp powerhead interchange?

Hi, I have a 2003 Johnson 25hp 2 stroke with a siezed powerhead. I have tried to unsieze the motor but it is not happening. I am now looking at replacement powerheads. Does anyone know if a powerhead from a 1993 25 hp will work on my motor? I looked up part numbers on boats .net and the crankcase part numbers are the same. I did notice that the crankshaft part numbers are different. I am wondering if the end of the crankshaft where the driveshaft from the lower unit goes is different. I am afraid to order a used powerhead for fear that it won't bolt up. Does anyone know if this is possible or was there a design change at some point that is going to leave me stranded. If anyone knows what years powerhead will interchange your help would be much appreciated. I really want to put this outboard together and not have to resort to stripping it down and selling it for parts. thanks. Below is a picture of my outboard.

No experience with this sort of thing, but what model number is your motor?
And which crankshaft part(s) are you referring to?
The Crankshaft Assy (P/N 0435492) appears to be the same from 1993-2005...
