I found an old Evinrude sportsman in my dad's garage great shape I have a number off of the plate under the motor head above the drive shaft. It is 4348-00511. Looking for age horsepower and possible value thanks to all who help me in advance

She is a 1940 2hp

Value? Hard to say without seeing it. Probably worth more sentimentally to you than to a collector.
