To whomever can help...
I pulled out my 1975 Glastron CV-16 with a 1975 Johnson 85hp outboard this morning to wash and run before hitting the lake tomorrow.
When i went to go start it nothing happened, i tried to engage the choke and it would not engage. I checked battery it was good so i pulled out my test light. I am getting power to the starter solenoid and the battery is good, i am not sure how to test the choke solenoid for power.
Since I am getting power to the starter solenoid, and the choke is not engaging does this mean my ignition switch is bad, fuse blown or a short?
I had the boat out last week and it started up and ran fine, pulled it out a week later and nothing happens when i turn the key. Bummed and looking for help.
