I am still trying to figure out this motor and last night I found some more corroded connections on the wires under the cover of the power pack (they were screwed into the terminal bar). I cleaned those up..stuck the fuel line in a fresh can of gas instead of the built in tank and it "seemed" to start and run better for the short time I ran it on muffs.
I don't know what this motor should sound like so was hoping I could get input from the experts on here.
You will see a couple of questions on the linkage as well..there's a metal bar that slides into a tube that I am curious about and the warm-up lever doesn't seem to move the linkage much...not sure if these are both issues or are correct.
Thank you.
p.s. This motor is new to me and I am trying to figure out as much as I can before taking it to the water.
Previous owner had done several things to try and remedy the loss of power which I outlined in my other thread:
