I've found a "good" deal on a 1998 Evinrude... the only thing "wrong" is that the motor is set up for remote steering.
Well I need a tiller handle... is there a "kit" number for all of the components to make this a tiller steer once again or is this a wild goose chase? Then I have to consider the shifting... how do I get from forward to reverse.
BRP (from what I have seen) has no number for a "kit"... but I could buy all of the individual components and spend ? up to 10 times what the motor is worth to get a tiller handle and related components.
