Evinrude 70 hp midsection/bracket parts ?

I have a 1977 Evinrude 70 hp I am restoring.

I need to replace the bracket and midsection. I've been offered mid 1980's 85 hp parts and also some mid 1970's 50 hp parts.

Does anyone know what models will interchange? I will use my powerhead and probably my lower unit.

Go to shop.evinrude.com and start compairing part #'s. You could also check the top secret files at the begining of this forum and look for salvage yards.
