Hello, I am working on a 1985 johnson outboard with a dead cylinder. I cannot seem to determine the cause of it being unable to fire. It seems it is getting to much fuel from the carb. The carb is clean and is well adjusted apparently because the other cylinder is firing perfectly and this carb supplies fuel and air to both cylinders. Compression is fine and the head has just been replaced. I have not checked out the fuel pump or timing yet but, the electric primer seems to leak a bit until the engine heats up. The reed valves also have no damage to them. Any advice would help. Thanks.
