My motor has a mix of coils in it (posted before) from PO. Am I able to use the "newer" style 2-post Coils and the Powerpacks from my 1985 parts motor??
The pn's for each are different, and from what MarineEngine.com and ********** show, I'm not sure about any compatibility. The Manuals show different ohms specs on each also.
Does anyone know if I can take the 2-post 1985 and up, Packs and Coils and use on this 1984 (where it had the one post style). I got good spare parts, but not sure its ok to do. Just bieng carefull
