Please could anyone help, i have a 99/00 johnson 2 stroke 3 cylinder 70. it recently stopped charging i have checked all wiring and from other articles i have read it points to the rectifier, it has 5 wires coming out of the rectifier yellow, yellow/grey, red, purple and grey. it has ac voltage coming from the stator to the buzz bar and increases with revs but only has 12.04 at the red wire of the buzz bar. does this point to the rectifier? i know there are ohm tests that can be done on the rectifier but keep getting inaccurate readings. could anyone please help any help would be appreciated. thanks.
