V4AL-19m A wire on my voltage regulator broke off right on the end. I tried to sauder it back together, but its broke to close to the end. Before i go buy a new one, i just want to make sure the boat runs, will it still run without it? Also mine has two wires comming off of the regulator, but everything ive found on the internet has 2 wires+ a ground wire. Will this replace just me 2 wire?
Thanks!!

According to your model # it's a 1967. They are different than 1968.

It will run without the voltge regulator, but if I remember correctly, the voltage will be uncontrolled and may blow out any bulbs (ignition "on" light) or sensitive electronics that may be connected.
