Queston about the 2 carbs on an 87 Johnson 88 HP SPL

I have a 1987 Johnson 88 HP SPL motor. I am wondering about the 2 carbs. Does 1 carb feed 1 bank and the other carb feed the second bank? If I'm not mistaken the starboard bank has cylinders 1 and 3 and the port bank has cylinders 2 and 4. So I guess I am asking if each carb is dedicated to a particular bank? Thanks in advance for any help given.

Top carb feeds top cylinders (1 & 2). Bottom carb feeds bottom cylinders (3 & 4).
