I have a 1994 evinrude 70, went to try and crank it up,and wasn't get getting any fire.play around with and then it popped and fired up.got it to the lake it fired up ran for a minute or two and died.not get any fire just like before. I have heard that if the stator is bad the rpm gauge won't work.And the rpm and battry gauge are both working.any ideas?
