Where can I find the correct steering cable connection for a 1969 Evinrude 18hp?

I have a 1969 Evinrude 18hp Fastwin outboard with no tiller. I want to install a single cable steering system to the motor. Motor does not have a tube.

I have a 1961 Crestliner 14' Commodore Speedster Mod.810. When I change steering from wire/pulley system to a single cable system, I want to locate the steering wheel (helm) to the center of the boat for balance when I am alone in the boat. Anyone see any problems with that?

An expensive changeover, the cable/pulley system should work fine on that engine.
Moving the console to the center should not cause any problems.
If you really want to convert to a single cable system, take a look at the site below, look at the last conversion kit.
