I've used that fuel for all my outboards and no additives. Never had it gum up a carb or go bad over winter. Ethanol fuel (alcohol) likes to absorb water over time, turning into cloudy sludge on the bottom of your tank. Water doesn't seem to work well as a fuel source..
As stated above, the higher octane isn't needed. The lack of ethanol is preferred, IMHO. I gladly spend the extra 30 cents and use if for everything except my car.
