Evinrude 9.5 year and transom bracket question

I have a Sportwin 9.5 hp Model 9622A, SN ELL239. Can anyone identify the year? I'm also looking for the flat strip ( has a small lip running it's length) which seats against the outer transom board, I think it's part of the transom bracket. I could probably make one from strip steel ( 1/8" thick"). Any ideas out there on where I might find an original/replacement?

1966 . go to marineengine.com, it will show you every nut and bolt on the motor with part numbers. from there, check out the salvage yards in the top secret file at the beginning of this forum.
