That's 15 gallons per hour EACH at wide open throttle...

I burn about 20-24 gal/30 miles (1.2- 1.5 MPG) on my single '98 150HPV6 Johnny Oceanrunner, while on a fishing trip at 3200-3500RPM. 21 foot Seaswirl.

What kind of boat do you have?

Ive got twin 1995 150s with flowscan gauges on a Wellcraft 238 Coastal. They get .8 to 1.8 KMPG (never seen 2.0) At WOT I burn 32GPH @ 5800RPM and 42KPH and at 3500RPM about 20GPH - 3700 is my sweet spot and I get about 22GPH there at 34KPH. (About 1.5kmpg)

This is all in the Gulf with ideal conditions. Nasty chop will kill the mileage.

And that's more influenced by your hull than by the engine(s). Someone with identical engines on a different hull would have different results.
