Just repowered with this 115hp Evinrude which after a few weeks of use had a non-start issue. Turns out there is a small nipple on top of the block on the starboard side that is shooting water out of it. It ended up shorting out the 20amp fuse in the holder.
Anyone know why this nipple is here and how to deal with it? I don't want to just plug it in case this should be leading somewhere or what? Below are photos of said nipple.
