I installed two temperature sensors on Ocean Runner. Work done thus far t-stats replaced, all ignition replaced (powerpack, timer base etc), pop value checked. All cylinders fire well, port side works well I get water into t-stats and stream gets really strong after it idles for about 3 minutes - temp gauges show increase in temp. The problem is that one side (port) stops around 145-150F and the other is about 20-30 degrees hotter. Is this due to the fact that the starbird side is higher and hence the water temp is greater? Not sure why there is such a discrepancy. Gauges and sensors have been eliminated as the culprits and you can feel the difference by touching it the heads. Everything regulates, the both go to about 175-180 at WOT, but there is a distinct difference at lower revs. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
