Will a 1966 Johnson 9.5hp Tiller assembly fit on a 1971 Johnson 9.5hp?

Hey guys Tiller got destroyed when shipping the motor. Would a 66 fit a 71? For my 71 the model number is 9r71r.

Ezeke would know for sure but haven't seen him post for a long time. I would think the 73 for sure would fit. Can't say with absolute certainty though. I am confident enough to say I would buy it and try. Best of luck. Rick.

I would have to say it would fit because those mtrs were basicly the same from '64 to '73.
