Nice little motor - I have the same motor in a Johnson and she purrs like a kitten. I wouldn't be running that motor at anything more than idle speed in a test tank. What do you want to know about it?

i was wondering how many of these were made where to find owners manual just anything about them

3612 would be a 1966. Same exact motor as a Lightwin, but different paint and decals. Johnson did not have a duck hunter's model, but did have the regular weedless fishing model equal to the Lightwin. I don't have any production numbers, but I would say there were a whole lot more Lightwins made than Ducktwins. A nice Duckwin should be worth more than a Lightwin to collectors.

Please excuse my ignorance. I am new to these forums. How do they work? A person cannot ask for items that might be for sale? Can I post a thread that is asking to see if anyone has a motor for sale? If not, do you know of a site where I can look for one for sale?

check the other thread you started ! very good chance you will find what you are looking for. the iboats forums are not a buy /sell deal. but, this site is the best one you will ever find for advice of any kind boating related and more. jmo

Thanks, I just happen to notice that the original thread for this said that he was looking to sell so I thought it could be used for such a thing.
