Does anyone know the torque values and sequence for an 80's 40 HP outboard motor

18 to 20 foot pounds in the following bolt sequence.

9....10
5.....6
1.....2
4.....3
8.....7

Thanks so much Joe. I a just getting into boating and have a 14ft ski-n-troll with the 40HP lohnson mentioned above. You wouldn't happen to know how the bolts are numbered would you. I know, If you the sequense then obviously you know the numbering.

You wouldn't happen to know how the bolts are numbered would you. I know, If you the sequense then obviously you know the numbering.Thanks, Rick

The cylinder head has 10 bolts. They are numbered exactly as I have them listed. Start tightening with the center left (#1) bolt, then continue on in an ever widening circle.
