will this work as a replacement for plug wires for a 6802c model.. original wires are discontinued..

id worry about the length, other than that, should just be a matter of clipping the coil end off. ( any shop that works on lawn mowers etc usually will have metalic core wire, and sell it by the foot.)

Way to expensive, as nwcove suggested, go to a small engine repair shop or check your local auto parts store for 7mm solid core spark plug wire, usually sold by the foot.
