motor sat unused for years

Hi, iI have a 6 horse Johnson motor, 1976. It hasn't been run for quite a few years and would like to get it on the water again. I want to know exactly, step by step on what to do so I don't wreck anything. can I please get some feed back on this? It will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I would definitely change the water pump impeller, change the gearcase oil, and pull the flywheel and inspect the coils.
Gas is mixed at a 50:1 ratio with TC-W3 2-cycle oil.
