1.6 Litre OMC shift linkage location

I have to replace the water pump impeller. To remove the lower unit, I have to loosen the shift linkage screw that engages the shift shaft. Where is it and do I have to remove other components to get at it? Diagrams or pictures would be big help.

You should get an OEM Factory Service Manual if you are going to do this work yourself. Maybe somebody else will chime in.
