I have a 2005 Evinrude Ficht 115 hp engine that has been running well since new. I had it serviced a month ago and it was going well in the lower rev range but it cuts out after a few minutes use above 3500 rpm. It restarts after a few minutes and works well again at low rpm. This has happens every time I go over 3500 rpm.
The service tech has run the diagnostics on the engine and cannot find a problem. All fuel filters have been checked/replaced. I have even set up a sep tank and fuel feed to locate the problem - it is definitely the engine.
Any suggestions or ideas (obviously find a better service technician)!!
