took it out to the lake sunday was running great, started without a hitch, but after about a 1/2 hour motor died while running, got it home and no spark at all opened up the power pak and noticed some corriosion (white) on the bottom 4 wires on the powerpak, i m guessing the powerpak went bad but want some other opinions, and how do i check the powerpak itself, ive looked through the archives but it didnt seem real clear, thanks for any help

NOTE: There should be a seal between the powerpack and its cover!

Remove the black/yellow wire from the powerpack (kill circuit). Remove spark plugs. Crank engine and check for spark. If you have spark with that wire disconnected but no spark with it connected, usually the cause is a failed shorted ignition switch.

If still no spark, although there may be other causes, the usual one is a failed powerpack.
