Anyone have any resources for checking or rebuilding the water pump? maybe i'm doing something wrong? i have prop in a bucket of water (not a barrel) motor starts and idles great but it not pumping any water. maybe the intake not in water? maybe motor not deep enough in water to get good prime? i'm not really sure where intake is. any info will be greatly apperciated

the pump isnt self priming, make sure the pump housing is submerged.

id put the motor in right up to the bottom of the transom clamp, but if its above the water pump housing it should pump water.

Yeah as stated, a bucket isnt going to cut it.

If you need an impeller, message F_R
