I was wondering if anyone can tell me the mixing ratio for my evinrude 200 v6. I couldnt find an oil tank or anything on the motor to suggest it does on its own. There is no sticker or anything with the ratio. im pretty sure the model year is between 1985-1990. The images i have found on the internet say `88-89. I found a thread that said 50:1, but he only had a 5hp will it still be ok for my 200?

Any help would be greatly apprecated. Thanks for reading

Yes 50:1 if you are premixing. The VRO is a variable ratio oil mixing device. But if you are premixing, like me, it is 50:1.

If you have "oil mixing", or the VRO hooked up, the oil tank should be in one of your cubbie holes around where the motor is mounted. Look for a dirty, oily, tank that would fit around a gallon of fluid. It wil have a hose running from it to the motors fuel pump (VRO).
