1996 Johnson 15 4-Stroke: What's involved with replacing lower crank seal?

If I pull the powerhead...can the seal be replaced without a tear-down?

I have the Seloc manual...but it doesn't really indicate a procedure for this.

An OEM Factory Service Manual would probaby tell you more..............never worked on one.
