I just bought a Panther Model 25 tilt to use on my '89 Evinrude 40hp. Yes I know the Model 25 is for up to 35hp motors, but I want to see if I can make it work.
I cannot find the installation/user manual ANYWHERE. The main problem we are having is the bottom main panther bracket moves when tilting. The top brackets move as well.
We had made our own top brackets where it connects to the motor, but when tilting down the brackets move, not allowing the motor to tilt all the way down.
Does anyone know what part I would need from Panther to make this model work correctly on my motor. Anyone have a manual in PDF?
