Hi,

Anybody have any recommendations for cleaning out a clogged grease plug (not the fitting aka zerk but part where grease goes from zerk into the mechanical part that needs to be greased)? After I finally got the fitting off there was a hard white crust in the tube that I dug out with a nail, but it's still clogged when I try to pump in grease. I can't easily soak it since it's on the motor bracket part of the motor. I've tried squirting solvent and air but there still seems to be some buildup. Any thoughts? Thanks,

Ryan

Use a heat gun or hair dryer on the tube...it should soften the grease to flow out of the removed zerk hole.

Is the "white crust" salt?
