Hi all,

Could use some help identifying this old girl. Not having much luck on my own. I've got one complete motor, and a handful of parts. The plate with the serial number on the intact motor is missing, but I have an extra gas tank of approx the same vintage that does. Can someone give me a year? Thanks! :)

From what I can tell, it is a Model A, 3.5 hp, built in 1918 according to that serial number.

Thank you very much for looking that up. :)

I wonder if the motor itself isn't a 1914 since the photos I've seen show the flywheel being a solid piece of metal in 1918, more 'refined' if you will. The 1914 is more basic.

Not that I really know anything, just from what I'm looking at. ;)

You have a great restorable classic there, that's all I can say. :D It'll be interesting to see your progress on it.
