Question about ignition kit. 3hp evinrude 1963

I bought an ignition kit from Napa Auto parts. Included points and condensers. Also included felts which I think are the wipers for the cam. Also included are some capsules with grease in them. Is the grease for the wiper felt. And are the felts for the wipers. Thanks for any help gents. Mettyfish

yes the felt is for the oiler and the grease is for the felt.

Thought so but just wanted to make sure. Pretty straight forward. HEHE

Hey metty, what's happenin? Yea, just put a glob of grease on the cam, in the line of where the heel of the points ride. The felts will take up the excess grease.
