Model 4434 7 12 hp Evinrude 1950 schematic and parts

I have one of these little beauties and would like to get it running. Any help with
locating parts and a schematic would be very much appreciated. Are the parts
interchangeable with older or younger models?

There is a parts book for a 1953 online at http://www.knology.net/~tombeam/originalliterature.html

Your 1950 is similar in many ways, but the ignition system is different.

Don't overlook an Evinrude dealer for parts, you might be surprised. But you have to go in armed with the part number because he probably doesn't have the book either.

Thanks F_R . I looked up the 1953 parts book and I think that will be a huge help.
Great schematic if it's even close. Should be a good reference. I've
used marineengine.com before and also found it very helpful for other
motors but they didn't cover the 1950 model Evinrude.
