Aftermarket rev counter .... where to connect 1990 30hp rude

Hi all,

I have been lent a rev counter to try and work out where my engine is reving to before I change my prop to get the boat up and on to the plane.

I have set the pulse to 5 just need to find where to connect the pickup to.
